City awarded $500,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding for Downtown Water Infrastructure Improvements
On Monday, January 20, 2022, Governor Kay Ivey joined with the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) Director Kenneth Boswell to present Community Development Block Grant awards at the Capitol in Montgomery, Alabama. The City of Alexander City was the recipient of $500,000, of grant funding that will be utilized to improve water infrastructure in the downtown area.
