Zoning Board of Adjustments
The Zoning Board of Adjustments (ZBA) is an appeal board for variances, zoning ordinance interpretations, and special exceptions. The ZBA consists of five members appointed for three-year staggered terms and two supernumerary members.
Meetings:
- 11:00 a.m.
- 3rd Wednesday of each month
- Public Works Briefing Room, 281 James D. Nabors Drive
- All ZBA meetings are open to the public.
Application Deadlines:
The deadline for applications to be submitted to the ZBA is 14 days prior to any scheduled meeting. Applications can be mailed to the Planning and Development Department c/o Zoning Board of Adjustments, 281 James D. Nabors Drive, Alexander City, AL 35010 or emailed to Caroline Brown.
