Sugar Creek

The City of Alexander City owns and/or maintains two (2) wastewater treatment plants. The Sugar Creek location is an industrial advanced wastewater treatment plant. Our Coley Creek facility is classified as a domestic wastewater treatment plant. Each location has different types of operational modes. A total of twenty-five (25) lift stations pump wastewater to these treatment plants.

The Sugar Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant houses an onsite laboratory to analyze drinking water for bacteriological testing. Furthermore, this location offers wastewater dumping (grease, fats, oils, sewage, leach agent water, regeneration water, cooling tower water, etc.).
