Garbage Pickup

The City’s garbage pick-up service is now contracted with GFL Environmental after their recent purchase of Advanced Disposal and Waste Management.

  • To request new service or make a change to your current service, please contact Utility Collections.
  • To request a dumpster or make changes to your current dumpster service, please contact GFL Environmental directly at (334) 513-7860. 
  • Requests for back-door pick-up service for disabled and/or elderly citizens must be approved through the Mayor’s office. Please contact the Mayor's Assistant for more info.
  • To report a complaint such as broken/damaged garbage cart, missing garbage cart, missed garbage pick-up, etc., please contact the Environmental Services Department.
