The City Council of the City of Alexander City, Alabama, will have a public hearing on Monday, April 17, 2023, to hear public comments concerning the below described property:

To rezone a property within the Alexander City Corporate Limits from 

RR - (Reserve Residential) to R3 - (High Density Residential)

Monday, April 17, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.

    • All attendees must sign in.
    • Anyone planning to speak for or against the matter must sign up to do so before the meeting. The council meeting will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. A sign-in sheet will be provided outside of the courtroom 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. No one will be permitted to speak who has not signed up to do so.
    • The Council President will call on each speaker individually to approach the podium during his or her turn.
    • City Council meetings are recorded via audio and video. For recording purposes, please speak clearly into the microphone, provide your name and address.
    • Each speaker will be given up to 3 minutes to speak. A timer will be used to ensure fairness.
    • All comments should be relevant to the application and should not be of a personal nature.
    • Please avoid repetitive comments. Simply state your agreement with the previous speaker(s), unless you have additional questions or concerns.
    • All members of the audience should remain silent at all times. Only those who sign up to speak will be allowed to do so and only during their designated turn.
    • Unruly behavior to include, speaking out of turn, derogatory personal comments, foul language, disorderly conduct, booing, hissing, disrespectful behavior, etc. is prohibited.
    • Anyone violating these ground rules will be asked to leave and/or escorted from the premises if necessary.
