The Alexander City City Council is accepting letters of intent and resumes from citizens who reside in District 5 to fill the vacant council seat. Said documents can be emailed, faxed, or hand-delivered to the City Clerk's Office located at City Hall beginning Tuesday, May 14, 2019 through Friday, May 24, 2019, at 5:00 pm. Interviews for applicants will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019, in the City Hall conference room beginning at 4:00 pm. Any questions can be referred to the City Clerk's Office.
