The City Council of the City of Alexander City, Alabama, will hear public comment on the proposed amendment to the 2016 Zoning Ordinance at the request of City of Alexander City as described below:
A. City of Alexander City
B. A copy of the proposed amendment can be inspected in the City Clerk’s Office located in the City Hall building at 4 Court Square, Alexander City, AL 35010
C. Property Locations: Land located along and adjacent to Wicker Point Road with frontage along shoreline of Lake Martin. This property was annexed into the City Limits by Legislative Act 2020-118.
D. To amend the 2016 Zoning Ordinance to establish a Special District SD-1 (Lake Front Resort District). Currently this area is not zoned.
E.Monday, March 1, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.
Anyone wishing to speak for or against the proposed amendment must sign up before Council meeting.
