Board of Education Application for Appointment

Anyone interested in being appointed to the Board of Education must submit a completed application to the City Clerk by the announced deadline date. Applications not completed in full will not be considered.

All applicants must:

be a resident of the City of Alexander City,
not be a member of the City Council or County Commission,
be of good character and capable of discharging all duties assigned to the board,
not in any way be subject to the authority of the Board, and
be a qualified voter.

It is desirable that the applicant be a citizen of the United States or have begun the naturalization process.
