Utility Deposits, Accounts and Billing Updates

Beginning Monday, April 19, 2021, the City of Alexander City will be implementing new requirements for anyone opening a new account or transferring utility service. Please listen to the video and view the below ordinances for more information.

All customers will be required to complete an Application for Utility Services, provide a Social Security number for a soft credit check,  other Federal or State identification, and sign a consent for collections of delinquent utility accounts.

Also beginning Monday, April 19, 2021, utility customers will no longer be allowed to run two utility bills. Each customer's utility bill is due 10 days after the billing date and must be paid 20 days from the billing date.
