Fire Training

      Captain Jeff Brewer is the current Training Officer.  The Training Division is responsible for the daily training requirements of all certified firefighters as well as advanced training classes.  Apparatus operations, technical rescue, hazardous materials, firefighter safety and health, and firefighter recruit (360) courses are scheduled throughout the year. 

     Many of the ACFD certification and non-certification courses are available to members of other area and regional fire departments.  Text books and study materials may be required for some classes at the student's expense.  Class space is limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis.
