The City Alexander City is unique because we own and maintain our very own electrical system. There are very few cities that have this opportunity to provide electricity to its citizens. We have a great team in our Light Department. The men and women in the department work daily to keep our lights on. On Alabama Lineman Appreciation Day, June 3, 2019, please take time to thank a lineman for his or her service to our community.
